“Which twin did I just feed?”
One baby or twins
Twins get their own column, routine and preferences — never squeezed into one shared list. Just one baby? It works beautifully as a single column too.
We built Babies Tracker for our own twins — then grew it, day by day, from the messy reality of feeds, diapers and 3am guesswork. Every feature earned its place by solving a real moment.
Our story
This didn’t start as a product — it started as a single button to log a feed for our newborn twins, because paper notes and generic apps couldn’t keep up. We used it every day, and every rough edge turned into the next feature.
When midnight kept resetting our log, we switched to a rolling 24 hours. When we couldn’t remember who was changed, the avatars started telling us. When reminders arrived late, we reworked them until they fired right on time. Nothing here is speculative — it’s all day-by-day parenting, turned into software.
Features from real moments
“Which twin did I just feed?”
Twins get their own column, routine and preferences — never squeezed into one shared list. Just one baby? It works beautifully as a single column too.
Feeding at 3am with one free hand.
Icons, not forms. The time is captured automatically — tweak it only if you want to.
Midnight kept wiping the day’s log.
We count the last 24 hours instead of resetting at midnight, so the 3am feed still counts.
“Has anyone changed her recently?”
Each baby’s avatar and header shift as time passes since the last diaper change — a glanceable nudge.
Breast milk isn’t formula — the timing’s different.
Expressed breast milk digests like breastfeeding, so a pumped feed sets the next-feed timer to the breast interval — not formula’s.
Vitamin D daily, Deflat “as needed, 3× a day.”
Build your own catalog, set a frequency or an as-needed daily target, and see what’s due per baby.
Every check-up: “how much has she gained?”
Log weights, see the chart, and get the average gain per day over the last week — right on the card.
“Was the next feed 3 or 3:30?”
Feed reminders land exactly when they should — 30 and 15 minutes before the next feed, with your chosen sound.
Nursery wifi is… optimistic.
Log now, sync later. Your phone is the source of truth; the cloud keeps both parents in step.
“Wait, how old is she in weeks?”
Add a birth date and each header shows the age — days, weeks or months — automatically.
“Can you send this to the doctor?”
Send a read-only link. Choose which babies and exactly what shows — share the log and routine without the doctor’s notes. Invite family with per-baby access, and revoke anytime.
